Gardens of Eden, a multi-award-winning residential development situated on Phuket’s west coast, has experienced a notable increase in sales as Phase One nears completion. In April 2026, the project saw heightened interest, particularly from Dubai and the Middle East, which has fueled demand for its upscale apartments, especially the larger three-bedroom units. During this month, discerning investors purchased 21 residences, comprising 10 one-bedroom units, eight two-bedroom units, and three three-bedroom residences—a remarkable increase of 67% in square meters sold compared to April 2025. Consequently, all three-bedroom units in this phase have sold out, prompting the developer to strategically combine some one-bedroom units into additional three-bedroom layouts.
This surge in demand has been attributed to several factors, including a rising interest from buyers in Dubai, who are looking for alternative second homes away from the geopolitical tensions of the Middle East. With the Eden Residences phase nearing completion, prospective buyers can now better visualize their investments, which is crucial for lifestyle buyers and families seeking more spacious options. The showroom experience is being mirrored in the actual development, showcasing the high-quality standards of Gardens of Eden.
James Thackray, Head of Western Sales & International Agency Relations for Amal Group, the developer behind Gardens of Eden, noted, “The situation in the Middle East has significantly increased attention toward Phuket from both investors and agencies based in the region, especially from Dubai. We have seen many agents visiting Phuket for property inspections so they can confidently introduce the market to their clients as an alternative investment and lifestyle destination. As a result, we are conducting presentations and meetings with agents almost daily.”
These property inspections are a crucial step in the buying process, often taking several weeks or months from the initial viewing to final sale, suggesting that sales for Gardens of Eden could continue to rise in the latter half of the year.
The growing demand for larger three-bedroom residences is largely driven by families eager to start a new chapter in paradise. Factors contributing to this trend include Phuket’s international schools, world-class healthcare, and leisure amenities. Additionally, Gardens of Eden’s commitment to environmental sustainability is appealing to parents, as the development allocates 70% of its space to natural parks, lakes, and gardens.
Thackray added, “Phuket is already a well-established global destination, offering high-quality infrastructure, including international schools and hospitals, an airport with direct connections to more than 20 destinations worldwide, luxury hotels, Michelin-starred restaurants, and a safe environment surrounded by nature. These factors make Phuket particularly attractive for families and long-term investors.”
Positioned within lush greenery just 50 meters from Bangtao Bay on Phuket’s sunset coast, Gardens of Eden is divided into four unique phases. The Eden Residences, a beachfront offering, features units ranging from 72 to 468 sqm, while the Park Residences provide garden living with sizes from 50 to 223 sqm, and the Lake Residences offer units from 52 to 123 sqm with views of tranquil water features. Additionally, a collection of eight ultra-exclusive Etro Residences (222-438 sqm) will mark the first branded residences in Thailand from an international fashion house. Each phase is accompanied by outstanding leisure, dining, and wellness facilities.
Currently, the Eden Residences is 82% sold, the Park Residences is 68% sold, and two out of eight Etro Residences have been acquired by discerning buyers. Construction is on schedule, with completion anticipated in Q2 2029.
