Dhanin Chearavanont, chairman of Charoen Pokphand Group, presented a gold Buddha image to young guitarist Nene Royal as her family received the keys to a luxury condo valued at 35 million baht (US$1.2 million). Nene, originally from Phuket, gained fame through America's Got Talent.
