This May, celebrity chef Datuk Redzuawan Ismail, widely known as Chef Wan, will be cooking aboard the Star Voyager cruise. Scheduled from May 22 to 25, this cruise is organized by StarCruises, a brand within StarDream Cruises.
In partnership with Chef Wan’s restaurant group, De.Wan 1958, a special menu will be created for guests to savor at The Lido, the ship’s buffet restaurant. Passengers will not only enjoy the chef’s dishes but will also have the opportunity to meet him during a unique walkabout session at The Lido, along with witnessing a live cooking demonstration.
The cruise sets sail from Port Klang in Selangor to Phuket, Thailand, where it will dock until May 23. The itinerary includes a return to Malaysia with a stop in Penang on May 24 before arriving back at Port Klang on May 25.
Following this, from May 25 to 27, two more two-night cruises to Phuket will depart from Port Klang. Although Chef Wan will not be onboard for these trips, guests can still enjoy a delightful getaway.
In addition, StarDream Cruises is planning several star-studded sailings for 2026 to mark its 10th anniversary. For those cruising in June aboard the Dream Genting, the premiere of Forever Broadway is scheduled. Passengers can also meet Amotti from the Netflix series Physical: 100 from July 26 to 28, and enjoy performances by the emerging K-pop group Kiiras from October 25 to 27. For fans of acrobatics, the Zodiac Theatre will host dynamic performances.
