The Meteorological Department has announced a rainstorm warning for Ranong and Phangnga, effective Sunday and Monday, advising small boats along the Andaman Coast to remain onshore due to expected rough seas. These two provinces are forecasted to experience heavy rainfall for a minimum of two days. Additionally, moderate rain is predicted for 24 other provinces, including Greater Bangkok, on Sunday, according to the weather office. The department also cautioned about hazardous sea conditions in the waters off Ranong, Phangnga, and Phuket, which could be perilous for small vessels. In contrast, Krabi, Trang, and Satun are only expected to see minor wave activity. On Saturday, heavy rain impacted Chon Buri and the surrounding regions, including Greater Bangkok, leading to flooding on several roads. The districts most affected were Taling Chan, Thawi Watthana, Bangkok Noi, Bang Phlad, Dusit, Chatuchak, Lak Si, and Don Muang.
